Burgess Park lies in the London Borough of Southwark. The project, sited in the east of the park, comprised the construction of a new basketball court to Sport England specifications for users of all abilities. Work also included the formation of a new ecological spectator mound and wildflower seeding.

- Construction of a new 1012m2 Ballcourt to meet Sport England guidelines for the design, specification and construction of MUGAS. The anticipated activities were basketball and wheelchair basketball. The installation incorporated the following:

- Bleacher seating from Sports Facilities Group Ltd
- Basketball hoops from Basketball England
- Ballcourt line marking as Appendix A for MUGA performance requirement and Appendix B Basketball England’s full-court-5v5-basketball-line-marking
- Formation of a spectator mound
- Earthworks – excavation of 2000m3 of soil
- Soft landscaping, comprising grass and wildflower seeding
- Concrete paved mowing edge
- Macadam paving to footpaths
- Below ground drainage
